Mobile phone tips – In case you get stuck

Today I received an email from a friend with some useful information on mobile phones which I found interesting. So, I thought I could just share some of the tips also: Did you know the your mobile phone has got a battery power reserve? I also didn’t know, to
activate it, Press the keys *3370# Your mobile will restart with this reserve and will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

Hope you’ll find some of these tips useful. Feel free to add any other useful tips.

    Good Tips!!!

Also, all phones have 911 access in the US even if there is no service contract. So it is good to keep a cell phone in the glove compartment w/ charger at all times.

Another tip from Man’s Health magazine: According to research conducted by the Bristol Royal Infirmary, using mobile phones allows you to think faster and enhances your memory.

And also a study by scientists at the University of Wales in Bangor found that the use of SMS increases literacy and even the much maligned ‘textisms’ are positively associated with vocabulary and phonological awareness’.
