Would you pay extra money to reserve a train seat?

National Express services is introducing a £5 rail levy just to reserve a seat on it’s trains. Is this fair or it’s another rip-off by the train companies?

Personally i think if you pay your train fare you should get a seat, especially on those long journey trains. National Express is going to charge travellers £2.50 a trip on top of standard class tickets. I think it’s time companies stop these customer rip-offs. Feel free to share what you think.
