From September 14, British travellers will be cruising down the highway in the iconic American Greyhound buses. FirstGroup said the buses would be running from London Victoria to Portsmouth and Southampton.
Tickets will cost from as little as £1, with the average journey costing £7. The hourly buses will take just under two hours non-stop and will offer free Wi-Fi, power sockets for each passenger, air conditioning, complimentary newspapers and leather seats.
If the introduction of the Greyhound buses makes our journeys more comfortable, I love this….especially Wi-Fi on board. Hope there will be a little bit more leg room for some of us with long legs.
