14 000 miles by bus! Is that a journey you would want to travel? It will cost you £4,950 one-way.
For those who don’t mind the long journey….a bus company, Ozbus-which pioneered a bus trip from London to Sydney is set to launch the inaugural trip from London to New York on 15 March next year.
The 18 week trip will cover 14 000 miles, taking in three continents and through 13 countries. Stop-offs on the trip include Russia, Kazakhstan, Tibet, China Alaska and Canada.
Passengers will take only one flight from eastern Russia to Alaska, across the Bering sea.
Highlights along the route include, the Terracotta Warriors, Prince William Sound, the Rocky Mountains and the Niagara Falls.
The price of £4.950 include accommodation, tour leaders, ferry tickets, entry tickets to national parks and any unforeseen contingency route expenses. Return tickets are also available.
