Delta Air Lines to offer wireless Internet access on U.S domestic flights

Delta Air Lines said it will offer broadband wireless Internet access on it’s entire domestic mainline fleet by the middle of next year. Several other airlines either offer similar services or plan to, though on a much more limited number of flights than the plans by Delta and Continental Airlines, according to a CNN report.
Delta’s flat fees for Wi-Fi will be $9.95 on flights of three hours or less, and on longer flights it will be $12.95.

Atlanta-based Delta said Wi-Fi service will be offered for a fee to customers traveling throughout the continental U.S. The system will allow Delta customers to use their Wi-Fi enabled devices to access the Internet while in flight.
