Teenage girls sunbathing in Manly Beach, Australia have been warned against using zinc cream to tan their mobile phone numbers onto their backs to attract boys. This stunt has been seen on at least two Sydney beaches.
On Manly Beach a group of girls aged 14 and 15, with phone numbers on their backs said they wanted to meet boys. Campaigner Nikki Goldstein has warned it could make them “a target.”
“They are objectifying themselves in a way that is, to my mind, a bit trashy.” Nikki added.
