A Post Office survey of 14 budget ski resorts has revealed Romania’s Poiana Brasov resort as the cheapest place to ski and has some of the best ski around. The total ski costs plus food and drinks comes to just about £200 a week, the survey revealed.
Poiana topped a list of 14 budget ski destinations.
High Tatras in Slovakia with deals costing £236.28 was second, while Borovets in Bulgaria came third at £241.10.
I contrast, the equivalent price in US ski resort in Vail, Colorado, was £514.86, making it the most expensive.
Ski resort prices in France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy look good value when compared with the US resorts.
