Virgin Atlantic staff criticise passengers and safety standards

Virgin Atlantic Airlines launched an investigation after flight crew criticised it’s passengers and safety standards on Facebook.

Virgin Atlantic staff branded passengers ‘chavs’ and even claimed that one of the airline’s jet’s engines was replaced four times in a year. And they said Virgin planes were full of cockroaches and had faulty in flight entertainment and PA systems.

Virgin Atlantic said a small group of staff had made ‘malicious’ postings on the social network site, which have now been removed.

The postings on a group, ‘I survived On The Alitalia Five!’ is said to have been in reference to five Boeing 747-400s bought by Virgin originally destined for the troubled Italian airline.

Well, I have never travelled on Virgin Atlantic so I can’t say much about their in flight service, but as for cockroaches I can’t stand them. If they are in Virgin planes, I just hope they will be cleaning up soon.

I just wonder if it’s that bad in Virgin Atlantic planes for employees to create a Facebook group called, ‘I Survived On The Alitalia Five!’. What do you think? Feel free to share your views by posting your comments.
