I have always wanted t go to Dubai or Abu Dhabi especially for shopping. With low import duty and no taxation I have just discovered that Dubai is the place to go for unbeatable value on major brand name products, some which are less expensive than their country of origin.
Plus, instead of heading to Dubai just for shopping, this is also an opportunity for a holiday experience like no other with the sunny weather, tranquil beaches and it’s vibrant city life.
There are many shopping malls in Dubai, here is what DubaiCity.com say about Mall of the Emirates:
Mall of the Emirates, the ultimate leisure, entertainment and shopping resort. it is the largest shopping centre .Strategically located in the heart of Dubai, this 223,000 square metre centre offers a full range of shopping, leisure, and entertainment. There are more than 400 retailers in Mall of the Emirates and also features a complete range of entertainment options including Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski destination in the Middle East, a two-level Magic Planet, the largest indoor family entertainment centre in the country.
What about lifestyle in Abu Dhabi? Abu Dhabi is a place where luxury and style are infused with traditional values of hospitality and respect. Where sunny weather, tranquil beaches, lush oases, vibrant city life, and a mixture of culture and traditions come together to create a holiday experience like no other. Explore the emirate’s old souqs, sip a fragrant Arabic coffee, ride the dunes on an exhilarating desert safari, or dive into a dazzling marine life – there is something for everyone in Abu Dhabi.
Well, I Dubai or Abu Dhabi is the place to go for my dream holiday and also indulge in retail therapy. I’m sure I will have the time of my life.
