Would you cycle naked in London?

Well, more than 1000 cyclists stripped off to take part in the World Naked Bike Ride in London recently. It was the sixth annual protest against oil dependency and car culture. Naked rallies were also staged in more than 40 locations around the world.

In London the nude cyclists followed a six-mile route from Hyde Park Corner past the Houses of Parliament and through the West End.

Human beings??? Protesting for a good cause maybe, but why Naked? Me, I would not even consider cycling in London. Too risky and it’s even worse when you are naked, especially if you are a man. What about you? Will you cycle naked? Feel free to share your views.

Advice for holidaymakers – Know Before You Go

The UK foreign office has launched a campaign urging Britons to dress appropriately and respect local customs when on holiday in other countries.

Different countries have different customs and laws, and holidaymakers need to be aware and familiarise themselves with these laws and customs to avoid getting into trouble and spoil your holiday. From women sunbathing topless abroad, having sex in public and even checking into a hotel with someone you are not merried to, holidaymakers do it without realising i maybe an offence in some countries. So, have you ever been caught on the wrong side of the law whilst on holiday? It can be a nasty experience, some have ended up in prison.

The Ha Ha Ha – Valentines Park

Just seen this place called The Ha Ha Ha in Valentines Park. The weather is too good in London today and for now I will go for walk with my son, but will find out more about this Ha Ha Ha! The park is quite big and to think I did not discover this natural beauty all these years.

London is beautful when the weather is this good. People do enjoy themselves and who can blame them after one of the coldest winters in history. But what’s wrong with the big Swan chassing ducklings?? Unfortunate I didn’t take video camera with me, I could have captured it on video. But it was a lovely day in the park with my son.

Grounded by London Underground strike

Is it right for the London Underground workers to cause all that trouble in London by preventing people from going to work and also going about their everyday business? Well, I couldn’t get to work today because of the strike by train drivers. If the weather was nice probably I might have loved this strike.

The bad part was the rain in London today. But well, it gave me time to catch-up with a bit of work at home.

Feel sorry for those who were planning to go and watch the England football game at Wembley, some will not be able to get there. Does anyone support strikes?

Well, there is a reason for every action that a person takes! And probably depending on how you are affected you either support it or you don’t.

Peny-pinching Ryanair to axe baggage handlers and charge for using toilets

Passengers travelling on budget airline, Ryanair could soon be told to load their own luggage onto planes and could also be charged £1 for using the toilet.

Ryanair believes they could save money if it did not have to pay for baggage handlers. But will that work?? Ryanair chief executive, Michael O’leary, says: ‘I believe we will start charging for toilet use.’ He added: ‘If we can get rid of two of the three toilets on a plane, we can add six seats. Peny-pinching business executives will do anything posible to get your last peny. But one day they will learn the hard way when they are out of business.

Britain’s top five affordable bank holiday destinations

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been named Britain’s favourite most affordable bank holiday attraction. London’s Natural History Museum is second on the list of the top affordable holiday attractions. As we are set for 3 months of hot weather in the summer, a family day out should not cost a fortune.

Here are the top five affordable bank holiday attractions in Britain.

1. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
2. Natural History Museum
3. River Lee Country Park, Essex
4. Tate Morden, London
5. Xscape Castlefield, West Yorks

I’m sure some people will prefer other holiday attractions which have not made it onto this list. After all we all have different taste, but Blackpool is a beautiful place to go. I never seem to get enough Blackpool, will be going back to this area in the next school term break.

Wherever you go for holiday break, make the most of it relax and enjoy yourself. That’s what the holiday break is all about isn’t it?

We are set for a hot Summertime in Britain

We are set for a hot summer in Britain. The Met office is predicting temperatures regularly above 30 degrees in it’s long-range forecasts. This is good news, something to cheer us up in these gloomy days, we have the Credit Crunch and now Swine Flu.

Time to sort out those plans for a summertime of fun.

The Met Office says; “Across the UK it’s likely to be warmer than average. Rainfall is predicted to be near or below average for the 3 months of summer.

Thank God I spent all those hours in the Gym, and now I’m in perfect condition for summertime. Bring it on….
