It has been reported as the greatest summer washout, and August is said to be the wettest ever! How disappointing? As if that was not enough more rain is forecast for the rest of the month……Is it only me who hate UK weather?
Apart from one week when we had extremely high temperatures, so far it has been rain and cloudy weather in UK. Dump and depressing really!
The peak holiday has been a washout and the gloom is set to continue. The Met office is predicting more rain this week, with strong winds and temperatures below August average.
Gale-force gusts of up to 60mph are expected to hit the south coast, causing disruptions and affecting cross-channel trips.
However Bank Holiday weekend temperatures are expected to be up to 24 degrees. But generally it’s not looking good. Chances of a local holiday not looking good!
